UBP_2014_300x2501Welcome. If you are visiting from UBP 2104, it’s nice to meet you. I missed this party last year but decided to join in this year. A little about me goes something like this…I am a daughter of the King and mom to four beautiful children with one I will see again in Heaven. You can read about Joseph’s life HERE. Our other children are 24, 18 and 16 years old….two boys and a girl respectively. I have also been married to my Love for over 23 years and counting. We started homeschooling when our oldest was 4 years old. That’s over twenty years and we are winding down with our youngest who will be senior next year. Homeschooling has been an incredible journey I am so thankful God called us to.

I am also a photographer and love capturing pictures of my family, creation, friends and really anything that draws me. I have been blogging since 2011 and have been blessed by this calling. Our goal here at What Joy Is Mine is to minster that there is JOY in every day life. First and foremost our joy is to be in the Lord! “Yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation. (Habakkuk 3:18) When we find joy in our walk with the Lord, everything else we live through in life can be dealt with in a more peace-filled mind. At WJIM, I share personal stories, God honoring teachings and more to encourage that mission. Read our ABOUT page for more information on what we desire to accomplish here with each post. May you find the JOY in your every day life. A joyful heart is good medicine…” Proverbs 17:22

I also contribute at A Biblical Marriage, which offers much encouragement for marriages. You can connect with me by commenting, liking me on Facebook, following me on Twitter & Instagram and subscribing so you don’t miss a post. And please feel free to look around and see what we’re all about. It’s nice to meet you.

Now if you are a blogger visiting for the first time, I invite you to share a favorite post in our weekly link up, Monday’s Musings. Be sure to visit another blogger and encourage her before you leave. You will find that our weekly link up offers much encouragement to those who stop by.

This is so weird. I came to link up to your blog and even though your linky post was there and you said to link up, I didn’t see any links. So I decided to check back in the morning. But then I decided to leave you a comment and when I clicked to leave a comment, all the links (that people had already linked up) and “You are next” link up showed up so I could link up.

Isn’t that strange? Anyway, thanks for hosting!
