Monday’s Musings #186 & A Tea Cup Swap

Monday's Musings #186 & A Tea Cup Swap | What Joy Is Mine

Who can go wrong with delicious tea and a beautiful tea cup to drink it in? Recently, my daughter and I participated in a lovely tea cup & mug swap. You get to choose which you want receive. We both chose to receive tea cups. You can see the beautiful tea cups we received along with extra goodies in the photo above.

We had a good time picking out a tea cup and mug for our recipients as well little goodies for them. Stephanie, our hostess extraordinaire from The Enchanting Rose, did a wonderful job organizing, explaining the rules and encouraging the fun.

Stephanie started this swap a few years ago with the intent of people making new friends over a love for tea cups. She added mugs for those who prefer those instead. I am so grateful I participated this time. It was so much fun getting our packages in the mail and seeing the beautiful tea cups we got.

And a huge thank you to the ladies, June & Sandra, who blessed us with such lovely tea cups and tea. We look forward to enjoying tea with our new tea cups.

Guess what? It’s your turn to share something now. Thank you for being here. I always enjoy having you.

    Sweet Naomi, you have been such a blessing and your kind emails have greatly touched my heart – thank you :) I am so glad you and your daughter were able to join the exchange. The tea cups are simply lovely and oh-so-feminine. I, too, am already looking forward to the exchange in March or April {{smiles}}

    May you have a beautiful and blessed day! Love and hugs!

    So fun!!! I SO wanted to be a part of the tea cup swap, but I backed out due to FEAR! I had just participated in an Instagram swap and received nothing for my end. Sad! It’s awesome to see that people DO hold up their end of the bargain! :) Thanks for sharing your lovely fun, and for hosting this wonderful linkup. :)

      Heather…Please look up the swap in the spring time. You definitely should sign up and swap. I do understand the fear of not getting anything. I’ve been there, too. Grateful to have you visit. Have a great week. :-)

      Michele…An anonymous tea swap would be fun for a ladies spring tea. I love a good tea with family and friends. Always blessed to have you stop by. :-)

    oh that looks like fun! I love mugs. Not too into teacups. I guess I’m just not a dainty kind of gal. I do collect too many mugs and the Hubs ends up putting them away on the top shelf where I can’t reach. He forgets that I’m not 6′ tall.

      Mary…I have my fair share of mugs, too. They are my go to for a good cup of coffee. I hear ya on being short-er. ;-) Glad to have you visit today.

      Lizzy…Oh, I enjoy a good chai tea myself but only have it every now and then. The caffeine is more than other teas I enjoy. That’s so cool you make it from scratch. You should share your recipe some time. Have a good week. :-)
