Another month is about to leave us, spring will begin to make its beauty fully known and it’s time for another daybook entry. Here we go…
Today is March 27th, Resurrection Sunday. I hope you had a blessed time with family. We were excited to have all our family in church with us today, ate tacos from a street food truck after service and took family photos.
Outside, it is dark and this month has given us windy days that are still a bit chilly. I’m not a fan of the wind.
Exercise-wise, I have stuck out the 31 days of Pilates challenge so far and there’s only a few days left. I had a sweet friend keeping me accountable and that helped so much. Not to mention how much I really missed doing Pilates. I also walked 11,000 steps in one walk. I had not intended to do that but lost keys caused me to have to back track and look for them. So, now I know that if I want to get 10,000 steps in one walk, back track. Tee hee!
One project I have been working on is my prayer board. I have a precious little corner space in our bedroom and I use it for my Bible study, prayer time and some reading. I don’t have room in our closet for a “war room” but this space works. I hope to share a post on how it looks.
I am bummed that my acid reflux has flared up. I was diagnosed with silent reflux almost four years ago. I had done real good to keep with a disciplined diet then I got comfortable. Obviously, this is a life changing way of eating. It is not easy for me as I L.O.V.E. food and have to give up some of my favorites. However, I know it is best for me. Thankfully, God is faithful to help me as I rework my diet once again and get the reflux under control.
For my faith, I am working through a mini-study on Psalm 22. I started it for Lent and still have a few more days to do. I don’t want to return back to my study of Acts until I finish this one. It’s been real good for my soul.
Some firsts for me this month included eating Pho and decorating Ukranian eggs. Pho was good but not something I would always order. But decorating the Ukranian eggs was a blast. I shared a photo up top of the finished product. The photo includes one that our daughter did as well.
I am thankful for our trip to see the Dodgers play, for knowledge to eat better, and for God’s grace and mercy daily. What are you thankful for?
This week should be less hectic than last week. I’m looking forward to tackling a spring cleaning project: the front room closet. Are you doing any spring cleaning?
A favorite quote: “If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant; if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome.” ~Anne Bradstreet
